What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the Information Security awareness program initiatives to protect information systems
- Identify business process requirements and provide training and support to customers
- Conduct risk assessments and research alternatives for defined business processes
- Create documentation of technical security requirements and generate reports for management
- Oversee small to medium scale projects or phases of larger projects while resolving security issues

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of information security experience
- 2+ years of experience with networking, intrusion detection, VPN, and firewall technologies
- Hands-on knowledge of UNIX/AIX, Microsoft NT/2000, and network protocols
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, CCNA, or CCNP
- Experience in implementing Information Security technologies and managing vendor relationships
- Ability to define Information Security strategy and integrate security technologies into corporate frameworks
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emergent problems
