What We Do

Responsible for supporting the Information Security awareness program initiatives, including protecting information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, perusal, inspection, recording, or destruction.

What You'll Do

  1. Participate in identifying business process requirements and related business/application solutions for specific business needs.
  2. Provide training and support directly to customers as needed.
  3. Identify and research problems, prepare presentations, drive solutions, test to confirm, gain consensus, and implement solutions for defined business processes.
  4. Create documentation of technical security requirements and functions.
  5. Generate reports; analyze data and report trends to management or business partners.
  6. Oversee small to medium scale projects or phases of larger projects under general supervision.
  7. Conduct risk assessments by interviewing internal and external customers to understand security and compliance requirements.
  8. Support information systems development and advise the business on risks related to new or changing technologies.
  9. Stay updated on industry advancements and incorporate new knowledge into daily activities.
  10. Participate in evaluating and selecting new technologies.
  11. Resolve security issues across platforms including email, file transfer, multimedia, and teleconferencing.
  12. Perform duties outside normal hours based on business needs.
  13. Work on problems of moderate scope, analyzing situations or data considering various factors.
  14. Exercise judgment within established procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
  15. Follow department processes and procedures, making recommendations for improvements.
  16. Avoid significant delays in process development or problem resolution caused by errors.
  17. Work independently, setting priorities and objectives; work is reviewed for judgment and accuracy.
  18. Establish and maintain effective working relationships within and between departments.

What You'll Bring

  • Generally requires a BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in information security.
  • At least 2 years of experience with networking, intrusion detection, VPN, PKI, Checkpoint and PIX firewalls, CISCO; NAC; Identity management, and encryption technologies.
  • CISSP, GIAC, CCNA, CCNP preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of UNIX/AIX, Microsoft NT/2000, firewall design and implementation, router access control, WANs, LANs, network protocols, and services like telnet, ftp, intrusion detection systems, VPN, two-factor authentication.
  • Experience in implementing security technologies and processes, evaluating products, managing vendor relationships, and integrating security into corporate frameworks.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and self-motivation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salary Range: $65,550 - $87,375 Annually

This range is an estimate at the time of posting and pay depends on knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
