We offer competitive and transparent pay, with an estimated annual base salary range provided in the JOB INFO section below. Compensation is based on factors like performance, skills, experience, and education. This role is eligible for our annual incentive plan (AIP).

Position: Cyber Security Analyst

Are you passionate about IT Cyber Security? We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to support our Cybersecurity & Communications Team on projects for commercial and federal clients. You will work with a high-performing, cross-functional team, focusing on secure network design, cybersecurity configuration, and risk assessments. Effective communication with team members and customers is essential, and work may be performed remotely or from an S&C office.

Key Responsibilities

1. Serve as the technical lead or customer point of contact for cybersecurity projects.
2. Develop strategies and timelines to meet project milestones.
3. Monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery.
4. Participate in network design, security architecture, and diagram development.
5. Specify hardware, software, and communication media.
6. Configure devices for security compliance and risk management.
7. Ensure timely delivery of cybersecurity documentation, including policies, diagrams, and training materials.
8. Conduct cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability scans, and compliance reports.
9. Support S&C’s Information Security program related to customer services.

Qualifications

• Current CCNA, Security+ CE, GICSP, or similar DoD IAT/IAM Level II certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• Experience with network design, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, access control, and network diagrams.
• Experience securing Windows, Linux, Cisco systems, and energy devices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards like NIST 800-53, 800-82, 800-171, UFC 4-010-06, and NERC CIP (a plus).
• Strong analytical, collaborative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently in a global Teams environment.
• Willingness to travel within the US and internationally (4-5 trips/year).
• Ability to pass DoD background checks and obtain a DoD CAC.
