Job summary

PrimeForge Manufacturing in Las Vegas is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in a full-time role. You will implement security controls to protect systems, networks and data.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT, at least 2 years of security experience, and hands-on knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and risk assessment. We offer health insurance, a competitive salary, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in information security.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and other security tools.
• Experience with risk assessment techniques and vulnerability management.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor security measures to protect computer systems, networks and data.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
• Investigate any security breaches or incidents and recommend solutions to prevent future occurrences.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats and technologies.
