Position Summary

The Information Security Analyst is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the security program. This role requires providing technical expertise in all areas of information security, working closely with the security team and other departments to ensure systems and networks are securely designed, developed, deployed, and managed.

The analyst will lead departmental KPI activities, track roadmaps, and oversee third-party security assessments and client compliance requests. Responsibilities include managing quarterly security activities, conducting access reviews, supporting audits, researching security products, and staying current with emerging cyber threats to maintain a secure environment aligned with confidentiality, integrity, and availability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze internal security controls to ensure compliance with audits, healthcare regulations, and ethical standards.
• Assist in planning and delivering security training across the organization.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure operational security measures are effective and compliant.
• Develop work plans, schedules, and manage security projects, including meetings and follow-up activities.
• Streamline and oversee daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual security compliance tasks.
• Perform quarterly access reviews, report anomalies, and facilitate remediation.
• Manage third-party vendor procedures and respond to security questionnaires.
• Support audit procedures and control evidence collection.
• Review security reports for violations and monitor cyber threats.
• Support physical security measures and recommend improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, Azure, etc.
• 1-2 years of experience in IT security and compliance preferred.
• Experience in healthcare industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft O365, Cortex, Qualys, DUO 2FA.
• Knowledge of IT systems and networking.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Reliable and predictable attendance.
