Job summary

Job description

This is a contract position for an Information Security Analyst, based remotely, with an initial duration of 6+ months. A background check is required to start.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of the cyber security learning and awareness program
• Assist in developing security awareness and training initiatives for employees and embedded contractors, including role-specific training
• Use innovative ideas to enhance user engagement through training sessions, demonstrations, newsletters, and other content
• Oversee global phishing, smishing, and vishing campaigns and work closely with the Cyber Defense Team to align simulations with real-world threats
• Track training assignment completion metrics and conduct follow-up with users and managers as needed
• Create security newsletters for the global organization and email communications regarding training completion status
• Develop content for internal portal pages addressing emerging threats
• Solicit and interpret user feedback and assess areas of opportunity

Qualifications

• Required
  • 3+ years of prior experience with phishing simulation development
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Proofpoint Security Awareness Training platform
  • Solid understanding of phishing attacks and mitigation strategies
  • 3+ years of experience in and exposure to cyber security risk and mitigation strategies, technologies, programs, and operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff
• Preferred
  • Prior experience creating content for security training and global security communications via newsletters and emails
  • Experience managing smishing and vishing campaigns in addition to phishing initiatives
