Position Overview

F&A Technologies LLC is seeking aSenior Information Review and Release Analyst to support a high-priority, mission-critical program for a dynamic Intelligence Community office at Fort Meade, Maryland.

The selected candidate will conduct detailed research and first-level reviews of classified documents and information to support declassification and information release decisions. This position requires significant experience evaluating classified information, applying applicable classification and information security policies, and making well-supported recommendations for redaction and release.

The successful candidate will apply strong critical-thinking skills when evaluating individual cases and will utilize a broad range of customer systems and tools to accurately support the review and release process. This role requires a strong understanding of the customer's missions, organization, historical policies, and applicable Intelligence Community and Department of Defense requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research into the substance, context, and history of assigned documents.
  • Perform first-level reviews of classified documents and information.
  • Evaluate classified information in accordance with applicable classification and information security policies and requirements.
  • Determine appropriate redactions through electronic and/or manual review processes.
  • Make recommendations regarding the release, withholding, or redaction of information.
  • Provide clear and supportable rationales for redaction and release decisions.
  • Apply applicable exemption codes and classification criteria when making review determinations.
  • Research previous release and declassification decisions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and appropriate application of established precedents.
  • Identify information and equities belonging to Other Government Agencies (OGAs).
  • Prepare OGA equities for referral, coordination, or additional review as appropriate.
  • Accurately document and record review decisions in designated customer systems.
  • Utilize customer-specific systems, databases, and tools supporting the information review and release process.
  • Apply sound judgment and critical-thinking skills when evaluating complex or sensitive cases.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing classified information.
  • Collaborate with government personnel and other stakeholders as necessary to support review and release decisions.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving customer policies, mission requirements, and information security considerations.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the mission.
Mandatory Qualifications
  • Prior experience providing at least first-level review of classified documents.
  • Demonstrated experience making recommendations for theredaction and/or release of classified information for the customer.
  • Significant historical knowledge of customer policies related toinformation security and classification.
  • Strong understanding of the customer's missions and organizational structure.
  • Familiarity with applicableIntelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) policies and regulations related to information security and classification.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of classified information.
  • Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to accurately apply established policies, regulations, and procedures to individual cases.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, consistent work.
  • Ability to effectively utilize customer systems and tools supporting the information review and release process.
Security Clearance Requirement
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • The polygraph examination must have occurred within the last seven years.
  • Candidates must be able to maintain the required clearance throughout employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive prior experience supporting the customer's information review, declassification, or release mission.
  • Experience working directly with customer-specific classification and information security policies.
  • Experience reviewing complex or highly sensitive classified materials.
  • Familiarity with historical release and declassification decisions.
  • Experience identifying and coordinating Other Government Agency (OGA) equities.
  • Prior experience supporting Intelligence Community or DoD organizations.

Work Schedule

Candidates may choose a schedule between24 and 40 hours per week.

This position is performedon-site at the Fort Meade, Maryland campus.
