Job summary

Level Up, LLC, a Virginia-based partner of AVIAN, seeks an Information, Review and Release Analyst (IRRA) to assess and redact documents under EO 13526, FOIA, and the Privacy Act. This on-site role requires U.S. citizenship and a Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph.

You will coordinate with scanning and search teams, help train staff, and improve workflows while upholding stringent standards. Level Up offers robust benefits and supports community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Review and redact documents per EO 13526, FOIA, and the Privacy Act.
• Apply critical thinking to ensure proper exemption codes during review.
• Collaborate with scanning team to scan documents for research and with the search team to initiate data searches.
• Assist with training of newly hired search team members, as requested.
• Collaborate with supervisory client POCs to recommend and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

As an Information, Review and Release Analyst (IRRA), the candidate will be expected to review and analyze select documentation to make redactions based on the criteria of Executive Order (EO) 13526, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and the Privacy Act (PA). You will be required to utilize and implement critical thinking during the review process to ensure each redaction adheres to legally defined exemption codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (applicants within one year of earning a four year degree will be considered); there is no preferred major or program of study (degrees from foreign academic institutions are accepted.

Desired Experience, Skills & Technologies

• Reviews & redacts certain equities within classified documents, records and files in accordance with established standard operating procedures, work flows and policies Submits requests to the scanning team to scan any documents needed for research Submits requests to the search team to conduct the initial of search for data relevant to the case Assists with the training of newly hired search team members, as requested Collaborates with supervisory client POCs to recommend and implement changes that improves processes, workflows and standard operating procedures

Clearance Required

• Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must possess a Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope polygraph.
• This position has an on-site requirement and is not eligible for fully remote candidates.
