Job summary

Level Up, LLC, a Virginia-based subsidiary of AVIAN, seeks an Information, Review and Release Analyst (IRRA) to review and analyze documents for redactions under EO 13526, FOIA, and the Privacy Act. You will use critical thinking to ensure redactions meet exemption criteria.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, US citizenship, and a Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph; on-site work is required, with opportunities to collaborate in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

As an Information, Review and Release Analyst (IRRA), the candidate will be expected to review and analyze select documentation to make redactions based on the criteria of Executive Order (EO) 13526, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and the Privacy Act (PA). You will be required to utilize and implement critical thinking during the review process to ensure each redaction adheres to legally defined exemption codes.

Qualifications
Required Experience, Skills, & Technologies
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (applicants within one year of earning a four year degree will be considered); there is no preferred major or program of study (degrees from foreign academic institutions are accepted.

Desired Experience, Skills & Technologies
  • Reviews & redacts certain equities within classified documents, records and files in accordance with established standard operating procedures, work flows and policies
  • Submits requests to the scanning team to scan any documents needed for research
  • Submits requests to the search team to conduct the initial of search for data relevant to the case
  • Assists with the training of newly hired search team members, as requested
  • Collaborates with supervisory client POCs to recommend and implement changes that improves processes, workflows and standard operating procedures
Clearance Required
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must possess a Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope polygraph.
  • This position has an on-site requirement and is not eligible for fully remote candidates.
