- Preferred: Experience in budget development and reconciliation
- Preferred: Experience working with Defense Travel System claims
Job Objective
Under a five-year contract, the Information Manager will support the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands. The scope of the requirement includes professional services for MARCENT located aboard MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, which serves as a Component Command to U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM). Specifically, the Information Manager will support the Plans and Policy Directorate (G-5) within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The G-5 assists and advises the COMUSMARCENT in joint-level and service-level planning, deliberate planning, crisis action planning, force deployment planning, Information Operations (IO), Special Technical Operations (STO)/Special Access Programs (SAP), command strategy and policy generation, doctrine review and analysis, Naval, command relationships, component, security cooperation, CENTCOM exercises, Key Leader Engagement (KLE), operational assessments, and requirements development, validation, and prioritization.
Responsibilities
- Provide information management services for the G-5
- Coordinate with the MARCENT staff and action officers associated with the development and management of internal and external information requirements
- Draft, update, collate, and track information requirements associated with command systems, recurring reports, administrative actions and task management
- Ensure currency of NIPR/SIPR Portal and Sharedrive information, execute SIPR to NIPR document transfers, track tasks in multiple task management tools, and update the Read Books
- Collate weekly updates, manage electronic calendars, update e-mail distribution lists, collate monthly inputs to the Defense Readiness Reporting System-Marine Corps (DRRS-MC) system, collate Command Chronology inputs, and assist with DTS Travel Claims.
- Draft Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) messages, assist in the development and reconciliation of the Directorate Budget, track military Awards submissions, track and maintain appointment Letters, update recall rosters/cards, and track annual/fiscal training requirements
- Track and update internal and external points of contact lists and provide requirements analyst support

Work Location

- Travel: Contractor personnel must support the projected travel in support of government requirements to MARCENT AOR and supporting locations, which includes but not limited to the following countries: Bahrain, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Israel, Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Djibouti, Cyprus, Turkey, Italy, and Greece. The ideal candidate will be available for travel on less than 24 hours-notice to support personnel recovery and training for forward deployed forces. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to execute OCONUS travel throughout the Central Command (CENTCOM) AOR.
