Job summary

Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles is seeking an Information Governance Matter Mobility Review Analyst to join the Global Information Governance team. The role reviews file releases and intake documents, supporting staff and attorneys with transfers and maintaining coordinated IG review workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; three years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Minimum three years of records/information management experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of information governance, data privacy and security principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans, organize files and workflows to complete review projects.
• Ensure compliance with policies and manage matter mobility reviews.
• Provide guidance and training on IG practices and data handling.
• Advise attorneys and staff on information management best practices and risk.
• Coordinate with Technology and other teams to configure IG reviews.
• Protect highly sensitive and confidential information in transfers.
