Job summary

Nossaman LLP is seeking an Information Governance Analyst to protect the Firm’s information assets. This hybrid role collaborates with IT, practice teams and business professionals to implement, monitor and improve the information governance program.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in information governance or IT administration, strong MS 365 experience, and knows data classification, retention, and disposition. Occasional travel to other offices is required; lifting up to 50 lbs may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, informatics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in information governance or IT system administration.
• Experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong understanding of data classification, retention and disposition.
• Experience with enterprise document management systems (iManage, NetDocuments, SharePoint) and DMS tools (Litera CAM, PowerDesktop).
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations.
• Superior communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional demeanor and discretion handling sensitive information.
• Ability to travel occasionally to other offices.
• Lift, handle and move boxes up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage governance-related technology solutions for data governance and compliance.
• Monitor compliance with Firm standards and external requirements for data classification, retention, disposition, and defensibility.
• Support and administer governance-related technology solutions across the Firm’s information environment.
• Identify and evaluate technology solutions that advance information governance capabilities.
