We are looking for an Information Assurance (IA) Systems Engineer who is eager to contribute to a small, fast-paced team! Our ideal candidate will have a security architecture background to support maintenance of U.S. Government Auhority to Operate (ATO) on two of our SATCOM ground systems. This role will support assessment and documentation of RMF security controls, taking ownership of and driving remediations, and documenting security architecture.
In this role you will, provide technical support and guidance as part of a program's Information Assurance (IA) team. This will include security control assessment, security requirement analysis, security architecture analysis, and architecting the implementation of security controls. Our ideal candidate will have both a background in the NIST Risk Management Framework and secure system design.
DoD 8140 compliant certification for Security Control Assessor - Advanced (e.g., CISSP, CySA+, etc.) required
Strong understanding of Defense-in-depth architecture
Ability to work independently, take initiative, take ownership of tasks and results
