Job summary

Peraton in Bethesda, MD, is seeking an Information Assurance SME to support a major National Security program. The role focuses on translating cybersecurity needs into concrete requirements, shaping architecture, and ensuring compliance with directives.

You will collaborate across the IC and contribute to policy inputs. Applicants should hold TS/SCI with Polygraph and a BS/BA with 12–15 years of relevant experience, with strong written and oral communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

• Experience turning cybersecurity needs into requirements and detailed solutions.
• Familiarity with IC policy, DNI processes, ICAM and Zero Trust concepts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to congressional inquiries on Cybersecurity issues.
• Turn cybersecurity needs and capabilities into requirements and detailed technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain a list of Cybersecurity Architecture needs, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Analyze cybersecurity best practices to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Contribute input to Cybersecurity policies and ICAM/Zero Trust trajectories.

• Requires a BS/BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience in order to operate within the scope contemplated by the level.
• Experience in cybersecurity responsibility areas listed above.
• Secure cloud architecture expertise
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough, and accurate.
• Ability to adapt in response to shifts in customer priorities.
• Familiarity with Identity, Authentication and Authorization.

Exciting opening for an Information Assurance SME to support a large customer organization in the fast-growing National Security Group. This position is located in Bethesda, MD.

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks

• Respond to congressional inquiries on Cybersecurity issues
• Turning cybersecurity needs and capabilities into requirements and detailed technical solutions
• Developing and maintaining a list of Cybersecurity Architecture needs, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans
• Analyzing cybersecurity best practices to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

Be able to contribute meaningful input to Cybersecurity policies and influence the trajectory of ICAM, Zero Trust and other Cyber security areas in the IC. You will also be developing and publishing baseline security requirements for common enterprise services to ensure capabilities are in compliance with cybersecurity directives and policies.
