Overview

This is an exciting opening for an Information Assurance SME to support a large customer organization in Bethesda, MD. Candidates must currently possess or be able to acquire a TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance.

What will you do?

Primary responsibilities and tasks may include some or all of the following:

  • Respond to congressional inquiries on Cybersecurity issues; turning cybersecurity needs and capabilities into requirements and detailed technical solutions; developing and maintaining a list of Cybersecurity Architecture needs, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans; analyzing cybersecurity best practices to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Be able to contribute meaningful input to Cybersecurity policies and influence the trajectory of ICAM, Zero Trust and other Cyber security areas in the IC. You will also be developing and publishing baseline security requirements for common enterprise services to ensure capabilities are in compliance with cybersecurity directives and policies.
  • Providing guidance and recommendations for Security related issues.
  • Firm understanding of the Cybersecurity requirements across the IC.
  • Understanding of National Security Systems initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the IC policy update process.
  • Familiarity with DNI structure and processes.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to sit in technical exchange meetings and provide input to customers.

VTG's estimated starting pay range is $185,000-$200,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
