Job summary

Peraton seeks an Information Assurance SME in Bethesda, MD, to support a National Security program. You will respond to congressional inquiries, translate needs into solutions, and shape cybersecurity policy and baseline requirements for enterprise services.

Strong cloud security expertise and IC collaboration are essential. You will work independently or with teams across ICAM and Zero Trust initiatives, contributing to the policy update process and engaging with customers in technical

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• BS/BA degree and 12–15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity responsibility areas listed above.
• Secure cloud architecture expertise.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, high-quality outputs that are concise and accurate.
• Ability to adapt to shifts in customer priorities.
• Familiarity with Identity, Authentication and Authorization.
• Experience partnering across the IC.

Responsibilities

• Respond to congressional inquiries on Cybersecurity issues.
• Turn cybersecurity needs and capabilities into requirements and detailed technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain a list of Cybersecurity Architecture needs, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Analyze cybersecurity best practices to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute input to Cybersecurity policies and influence ICAM and Zero Trust.
• Develop and publish baseline security requirements for common enterprise services.
• Provide guidance and recommendations for Security related issues.
• Understand DNI structure and IC policy update process.
• Work independently or as part of a team; participate in technical exchange meetings with customers.
