Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Information Security Risk Specialist to help Marines understand cyber risks and develop actionable mitigation plans. You will work with government clients to translate complex security concepts into practical actions and deliverables, including presentations and white papers.

You will assess threats using RMF guidance, review security documentation, and collaborate with engineers to secure critical infrastructure. A TS/SCI clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment.
• Experience performing Information Assurance (IA) controls analysis, testing, and risk assessments.
• Experience developing and evaluating security documentation, including system security plans, contingency plans, and continuity of operations plans.
• Experience analyzing security procedures.
• Experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Translate security concepts for the client to support informed decision-making.
• Help Marines discover cyber risks and develop a mitigation plan with action milestones.
• Create presentations and white papers to guide the client through the plan of action.
• Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to assess threat landscapes.
• Assist in expanding skills in growth areas like cloud computing and data science.
