Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Lead Information Security Risk Specialist to drive discovery of cyber risks for Federal Government clients and craft mitigation plans. You will oversee analyses, translate complex security concepts, and guide clients through actionable plans of action with presentations and milestones.

You will work with teams to protect critical infrastructure and mission systems, leveraging RMF, NIST standards, and security controls in a collaborative, leadership role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years of experience with the DoD RMF accreditation processes.
• Experience with RMF, STIGs, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-37, AWS, Xacta, or eMASS.
• Experience implementing and maintaining security controls.
• Ability to work through challenging security requirements and maintain compliance.
• Ability to develop technical documentation to support accreditation efforts.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery of cyber risks for Federal Government clients and develop mitigation plans.
• Oversee analysis of technical and personnel details from SMEs and translate them into actionable plans.
• Guide clients through a plan of action using presentations, white papers, and milestones.
• Translate security concepts for client decision making to secure critical infrastructure and mission systems.
• Collaborate with Booz Allen teams to protect national cyber infrastructure.
