Job summary

CVS Health seeks an Informatics professional to support and enhance reporting, data integration, and application processes. You will troubleshoot SSIS/SSRS/Power BI workflows, deploy reports, and maintain data pipelines in a collaborative health care technology environment.

The role requires hands-on development across SQL Server, VB.NET/C#, and enterprise scheduling tools, with a focus on reliable, accurate operations and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in application support, database support, informatics, or related technical role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Hands-on SSIS package development, support, and troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying SSRS and Power BI reports.
• Experience with Visual Studio development & maintenance.
• Experience with GitHub or similar source control tools.
• Experience with enterprise scheduling tools and job failure troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in VB.NET and C# programming.
• Experience with automated deployment of database objects.
• Experience ETL between production systems, vendor files and internal databases.
• Experience with secure file transfer (SFTP).
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to SSRS, Power BI, SSIS, and data processes.
• Deploy SSRS and Power BI reports following team standards.
• Automate deployment of stored procedures to team databases.
• Develop, maintain, and support SSIS packages for data extraction and loading.
• Support scheduled jobs and enterprise scheduling processes.
• Update and maintain team-developed applications as needed.
• Gather requirements and partner with technical and business teams.
• Assist in ensuring reporting, database, and application reliability.
