Job summary

The International Monetary Fund's Communications Department seeks a data visualization specialist to transform charts and data into clear infographics for IMF Blog, Country Focus, and other platforms. You will also support graphics, analytics, and digital production across COMPC platforms.

You will collaborate with economists, researchers, editors, and designers, build charts from raw data, and use tools like Datawrapper, Flourish, and Adobe Illustrator to convey complex policy issues to diverse

Qualifications

Advanced degree or equivalent experience in communications, graphic design, or data visualization.
Strong portfolio showing ability to translate quantitative information into visuals.
Experience with datasets and building charts from spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

Transform charts, graphs, and data into clear visual assets for IMF Blog and publications.
Develop original infographics, dashboards, and visual concepts to support key messages.
Collaborate with economists, researchers, and editors to interpret data visually.
Produce design assets for digital and print using IMF brand standards.
Track engagement metrics and support analytics for content optimization.
Experiment with AI-enabled tools to improve production workflows.
