Arlington Heights Memorial Library in Cook County is seeking an Info Services assistant who loves books and helping customers. You will recommend titles and assist with in-person, online chat, and other services for customers of all ages and cultures.
Responsibilities include facilitating book discussions, writing staff reviews, curating displays, developing reading lists, and maintaining online resources; 23 hours per week with mornings, afternoons, evenings, and every 4th weekend.

Our Info Services team has an opportunity for an avid reader, with a broad knowledge of books, music, and movies, to make recommendations for library customers. This position involves extensive interaction with the public, to provide customers access to the full range of library services via in-person, online chat, and other modes of delivery.

Requirements & Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Hours and Scheduling: 23 hours per week; schedule includes mornings, afternoons, evenings and every 4th weekend.
