The Glenview Public Library seeks an Adult Library Services Ambassador to greet patrons, provide reference help, and assist with readers' advisory and technology support. You will promote library services, resources, and programming while delivering an exceptional patron experience.
The role requires an evening and weekend schedule, comfortable with public interaction, and familiarity with literature. A Bachelor's degree or LTA certificate is preferred, and you must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
(work schedule- Mondays 5:00pm-9:00pm, Tuesdays 12:00pm-5:00pm, Thursdays 5:00pm-9:00pm and one Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm and Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm weekend per month)

Note: This role requires a flexible schedule of evenings and weekends.
The pay rate for this position is $20.83 per hour.
The Adult Library Services Ambassador serves as a welcoming first point of contact at the adult service desks, providing essential reference, readers' advisory, and technology assistance. This role is dedicated to elevating the patron's experience by actively promoting library services, resources, and programming, ensuring that every community member has a meaningful and successful visit.
