Global Payments is seeking an Information Security Analyst to fortify our security posture across systems and data powering millions of transactions. You’ll join a global Information Security team and influence security outcomes while supporting compliance with industry standards.

In this role, you will work with seasoned security professionals to analyze threats, implement controls, and improve monitoring and response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Security, CS, or related field.
• Foundational cybersecurity principles including vulnerability management, risk assessment, controls and access management.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, segmentation, authentication, authorization and encryption concepts.
• Ability to analyze information and apply security practices to business objectives.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a learning mindset.

In this role, you will help safeguard the systems, applications and data that power millions of payment transactions worldwide, supporting the trust and security that clients depend on every day. Your contributions will help strengthen Global Payments’ security posture, reduce organizational risk and support compliance with industry standards, enabling the business to innovate and grow with confidence. What you'll own

• Strengthen the organization’s security posture by helping deliver and optimize security solutions that reduce risk, protect critical business systems and support secure growth across the enterprise.
• Drive meaningful security outcomes through the implementation and enhancement of security controls, ensuring threats and vulnerabilities are identified, prioritized and addressed effectively.
• Influence the effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities by supporting the deployment and utilization of security technologies that improve monitoring, detection and response across the environment.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating emerging security trends, identifying opportunities to enhance protections and helping align practices with industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Support rapid and effective incident response efforts by assisting with investigations, security reviews and remediation activities that strengthen resilience and reduce the likelihood of future security events.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, including vulnerability management, risk assessment, security controls and secure access management.
• Knowledge of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) networking, network segmentation, authentication, authorization and encryption concepts.
• Ability to analyze information, solve problems and apply established security practices to support business and technology objectives.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a commitment to learning, continuous improvement and delivering secure outcomes as part of a team.

It's a bonus if you have

• Exposure to security technologies such as Web Application Firewall (WAF), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), endpoint monitoring or vulnerability scanning tools.
• Experience supporting security reviews, compliance activities or regulatory audit requirements within a technology-driven environment.
• Demonstrated curiosity for emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies and industry best practices, with a proactive approach to professional development.
