Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Vaccine Manufacturing Manager to lead influenza bulk drug substance upstream operations on a 2nd shift in Swiftwater, PA. The role focuses on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement within a GMP manufacturing environment.

The candidate will manage multiple priorities, drive production targets, and oversee regulatory commitments while leading a cross‑functional team and sustaining a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality, Production, manufacturing operations or related fields.
• Associates degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality, Production, manufacturing operations or related fields.
• High School degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality, Production, manufacturing operations or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple priorities independently or as part of a team to meet key deadlines.
• Communicate issues and progress across all levels of the organization.
• Resolve QA shop floor observations to maintain product quality.
• Perform monthly HSE audits, investigations, and CAPA support.
• Conduct GEMBA walks to ensure quality and compliance on the floor.
• Support deviation closures and regulatory commitments.
• Execute batch record sections and final review to hit production targets.
• Manage QDCI boards to meet KPIs and drive change.
• Establish performance expectations and evaluate direct reports.
• Onboard new hires and monitor GMP status of production areas.
