Moroccanoil in New York is seeking a driven digital marketing intern to support influencer relations, content strategy, and retail campaigns. You will collaborate with experienced marketing professionals, gain hands-on experience across campaigns from ideation to execution, and contribute to exciting brand initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring strong organizational skills, a genuine passion for social media, and familiarity with platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook.

The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and administrative skills, along with a genuine passion for social media and influencer engagement.

Position Overview

Throughout the internship, the selected candidate will gain hands-on experience across key areas of digital and retail marketing—including influencer relations, campaign execution, content strategy, product seeding, and retail marketing operations. Interns will work closely with experienced marketing professionals, giving them direct exposure to real-world marketing processes from ideation to execution. This is a unique chance to develop practical skills, build a strong foundation in the beauty marketing industry, and contribute meaningfully to exciting brand initiatives.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Prospect, vet and email influencers for seeding campaigns for launches and promotions via AspireIQ
• Create content briefs to support Paid, Retail, e-Retail and Organic requests
• Restock and maintain digital product closet
• Send influencer packages from the office and Shopify as part of Ambassador program support, new prospects and reactive gifting
• Research competitive influencer programs and initiatives for reports
• Assist with project requests for the design, copy, and social teams
• Upload product page information into retailers' portals (Sephora, Bluemercury, Kohl's, etc.)
• Monitor/audit retailer product pages on a weekly basis
• Help input shipping requests for upcoming reviews campaigns and monitor messages on review agencies platform
• Update paid social tracker as needed

Qualifications

• Office experience and proficient with Microsoft Office;
• Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
• Creative, dynamic, ambitious, organized and self-motivated;
• Strong knowledge and familiarity with digital space and Social Media platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Tik Tok and YouTube
• Be able to carry 5-15 lbs
