Job summary

WVU Medicine in Morgantown, WV seeks an Infectious Diseases Physician – Assistant/Associate/Professor to provide adult ID inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth care. You will join a program expanding the Musculoskeletal ID consult service and co-manage the ID/Orthopedic clinic.

The role includes teaching medical students, residents, and fellows and engaging in scholarly activities, with a 40-hour work week in an exempt U.S. position.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or foreign equivalent; eligible for West Virginia medical license.
• Completed Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship.
• Board certified or eligible in infectious diseases.
• All qualifications met by appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult ID inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth clinical services.
• Support and expand the Musculoskeletal ID consult service and follow-up in the combined outpatient ID/Orthopedic clinic.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in scholarly activities.
