Job summary

Emory University School of Medicine invites applications for faculty physicians in the Division of Infectious Diseases. The role covers inpatient and/or outpatient services at Emory University Hospital, Midtown, St. Joseph's, Grady, and the Atlanta VA; teaching residents, students, and fellows; and involvement in research programs.

Salary commensurate with experience and education. Board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases is required, with Georgia licensure

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the date of hire.
• Georgia medical licensure and DEA certificates required at hire.
• Three letters of reference must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Attend/cover inpatient and/or outpatient infectious diseases services across affiliated hospitals.
• Supervise, evaluate, and formally teach residents, medical students, and Infectious Diseases fellows.
• Encourage development of independent research programs in Infectious Diseases.
