Job summary
University of Minnesota Physicians seeks an infectious disease specialist to join the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Medicine (IDIM) at the University of Minnesota. The role encompasses both General and Transplant infectious disease care, with duties in inpatient and outpatient settings at the Medical Center-Fairview.
The position offers teaching responsibilities for students and residents, with opportunities to participate in clinical research.
Qualifications
- Must have medical degree (MD/DO/MBBS or equivalent).
- Board eligibility or board certification in Internal Medicine.
- Completed fellowship training (or equivalent) in Infectious Diseases.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient and outpatient clinical care at University of Minnesota Medical Center-Fairview, staffing Eastbank and Westbank consult services and seeing outpatients referred to Infectious Diseases clinic.
- Potential staffing of inpatient telemedicine general infectious disease consult service and antibiotic management team services.
- Educational responsibilities include teaching students and residents in the infectious diseases consult service and collaborating on clinical research.
