Job summary

Qualifications
- PharmD required and active CA pharmacist license.
- Minimum 2 years hospital inpatient experience or ASHP residency.
- PGY2 residency in Infectious Disease strongly preferred.
- Antimicrobial stewardship experience highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, develop and implement antimicrobial use programs for anti-infectives.
- Participate in patient-care decisions regarding drug therapy for infections.
- Provide education to physicians, nurses and pharmacists on antimicrobials.
- Engage in departmental and interdisciplinary committees and policy enforcement.
- Cross-train to support centralized and decentralized pharmacy operations.
