Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine (WMed) is seeking faculty for the division of Infectious Diseases.

The position covers inpatient and ambulatory clinical infectious diseases, teaching medical students and residents, and opportunities for clinical, laboratory, and educational research. Leadership opportunities within the division and department are available for candidates with a track record of academic achievement and leadership.

Qualifications

• Board-certified ID physicians with a track record in both inpatient and outpatient care.
• Experience in medical student and resident teaching is highly valued.
• Interest in leadership roles within the division/department is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and ambulatory ID care to patients.
• Supervise and teach medical students and residents in clinical settings.
• Participate in clinical, laboratory, or educational research initiatives.
• Collaborate with partners across Beacon Kalamazoo Health System and Bronson Health System.
