Job summary

Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine (WMed) seeks a full-time, board-certified or board eligible Internal Medicine faculty member to expand clinical services, research, medical student and resident training in Internal Medicine.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have an MD/DO and strong interest and passion for medical students, resident education, and scholarly activities in addition to being a superb clinician.
• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine, eligible for full licensure in Michigan, and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• All General Internal Medicine faculty participate in educating medical students and residents, ongoing scholarly activities, and clinical services in outpatient clinics and inpatient services.
• Participate in quality improvement, utilization review, and outcomes management.
