Job summary

University of South Florida’s Morsani College of Medicine invites applications for a non-tenure track Infectious Diseases Clinician Educator. The successful candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient ID consultations for adults within the USF Health system, with potential assignments at affiliated sites in Tampa.

Ideal candidates will have a strong record of clinical excellence, commitment to teaching, and scholarly activity, with eligibility for appointment at Assistant or Associate

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization.
• Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (as applicable).
• Must hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Clinical: provide inpatient/outpatient infectious diseases consultation for adult patients within USF Health. Assignments may be at Tampa General Hospital, Moffitt Cancer Center or other USF affiliated sites.
• Teaching: bedside and medical student/resident/fellow teaching during ID rounds.
• Service/Development: engage in service, professional development, and related activities.
• Represent the university/department as appropriate.
• Academic advising and related activities.
