Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine invites applications for a Clinician Educator in Infectious Diseases. The successful candidate will participate in teaching medical students, residents and fellows in inpatient and outpatient settings and build outpatient ID clinics in transplant infectious disease.

Qualifications

• Board eligible/board certified M.D. (or equivalent) with Infectious Diseases experience.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience with Infectious Diseases.
• Record of publication and conference dissemination in the faculty's area.
• Commitment to fostering diversity and professionalism among faculty, staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents and fellows in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Lead and participate in funded research and scholarly activities; disseminate findings at meetings and in publications.
• Maintain an active clinical Infectious Diseases practice and mentor learners in ID clinics and rounds.
