Job summary
Grady Health System in Atlanta is seeking an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist to join in inpatient ID teams and antimicrobial stewardship, applying advanced pharmacotherapy to improve antimicrobial use and patient outcomes.
You will precept pharmacy residents and students, participate in ID and pharmacy committees, and pursue clinical research while promoting rational, cost‑effective medication use across Grady.
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE - accredited School of Pharmacy
- ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency (or five (5) years post PGY-1 residency experience)
- Board Certification in Infectious Disease preferred
- Fully licensed as a Pharmacist in the State of Georgia or eligible for full licensure within 90 days through reciprocity or exam
Responsibilities
- Apply pharmacotherapy knowledge to infectious diseases pharmacotherapy.
- Collaborate with inpatient ID teams and antimicrobial stewardship.
- Precept residents and pharmacy students; participate in staff development.
- Engage in ID/pharmacy committees, research, and program leadership.
