Nationwide Children\'s Hospital is seeking a Staff RN for Infectious Disease on a Night shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) at the Main Campus in Columbus, OH.

This 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) position is part-time with evenings, every other weekend, and two holidays per year. Requires BSN or ASN with BSN completion within 5 years, Ohio RN license, and CPR certification; willingness to obtain NRP/PALS/ACLS/APHON as needed.

Qualifications

• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification; must be willing to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other necessary certification as determined by your manager based on business unit.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Communicates patient care needs and priorities to assigned staff.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
