Job summary

Novus Adult Care Services (NovusACS) in Doylestown, PA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse - RN to join our team. You will provide patient-centered care focused on infectious diseases, STD testing and HIV care, prevention, and education in a supportive, LGBTQ-friendly environment.

You will conduct assessments, obtain vitals, assist with examinations, perform phlebotomy, injections, and treatments, and maintain accurate EMR records.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Current BLS certification; CPR and ACLS as required.
• 3+ years of clinical experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures, and emergency care.
• Strong understanding of sanitation, decontamination, infection-control, and health and safety guidelines.
• Experience with EMR systems, billing processes, and computer applications.
• Ability to maintain complete, accurate, and confidential patient records.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered healthcare focused on infectious diseases, STD testing and treatment, HIV care, prevention, and education.
• Conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, obtain vital signs, and assist during examinations.
• Administer injections, medications, testing, and treatment therapies, with proper protocols.
• Educate patients on prevention, transmission, and treatment of infectious diseases and STDs.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records within the EMR system and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Supervise and train medical assistants and phlebotomists; assist with office duties as needed.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and other providers to deliver exceptional care.
