Job summary

The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard invites applications for a senior programmatic and technical support role at CISID based in Cambridge, MA. You will work with scientific leadership to shape strategy, manage cross-institution collaborations, and oversee research-related processes including MTAs and IRBs.

You will coordinate events, retreats, and seminars, liaise with faculty, trainees, and clinical researchers, and identify funding opportunities to advance infectious disease research

Qualifications

• PhD with 5+ years of experience in Infectious Diseases.
• Strong project management skills to support driving initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with scientific leadership to create, monitor, and implement the scientific strategy and operations plans for the center.
• Coordinate research-related materials (MTAs, IRBs, reports, collaboration agreements, etc.).
• Maintain the CISID website and plan professional development, social events, and educational opportunities for CISID trainees.
• Organize scientific activities and initiatives, such as annual retreats, symposia, and seminar series.
• Serve as a liaison between faculty, CISID Labs, and Clinical Research Units.
• Evaluate programs to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Identify funding opportunities to support scientific efforts within the center.
