Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to join the UMass Memorial Medical Group in Worcester, MA. This role covers inpatient and outpatient infectious disease services with potential leadership in transplant infectious diseases.

The successful candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in Infectious Diseases, hold MD or DO, and be eligible for MA licensure. Teaching, research, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team are integral to this position.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in Infectious Diseases.
MD or DO degree and eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure.
Interest in academic medicine, teaching, and clinical research.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as an attending on infectious disease inpatient and outpatient services, including transplant ID service.
Interest or experience in transplant infectious diseases and HIV/hepatitis C care.
Teaching integrated into practice with opportunities for research and academic appointments.
Work in a collegial, collaborative setting where clinical care, education and research are valued.
