Job summary

BMS Family Health Center in Brooklyn, NY seeks an Infectious Disease Physician to lead clinical care for HIV/HBV/HCV patients and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. You will develop individualized treatment plans, monitor outcomes, and participate in prevention, education, and public health initiatives.

The role emphasizes quality care for high-risk populations, adherence to guidelines, and collaboration with hepatology, pharmacy, social work, and case management teams.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Active NY medical license.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Infectious Disease.
• AAHIVM HIV Specialist credentials.
• DEA registration and controlled substance certification as required.
• 3–5 years of clinical HIV/Hepatitis/infectious disease experience.
• Experience treating HIV/HBV/HCV co-infections.
• Experience with underserved populations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with HIV/AIDS, HBV, HCV and co-infections.
• Develop treatment plans with antiviral therapies and guidelines.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
