UT Health East Texas is seeking a skilled Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established practice in Tyler, TX.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest or experience in Infectious Disease and demonstrate a commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices, education, and innovative care strategies.
New graduates will be considered.
Preferred credentials: AANP or ANCC
Required: BLS Certification
The UT Health East Texas system includes nine hospitals, over 90 clinics, 500+ providers, regional rehab facilities, emergency centers, urgent care clinics, home health services covering 41 counties, EMS fleet, and a Level 1 trauma center. The primary service area has over 600,000 residents.
The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, the first in East Texas, trains healthcare professionals with a focus on rural and underserved communities. It offers 20 residency and fellowship programs and interdisciplinary research opportunities, including a Master of Biotechnology program. Construction is underway on a new Medical Education Building scheduled for completion in fall 2025.
