UT Health East Texas is searching for a skilled Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing, well-established practice in Tyler, TX.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest or experience in Infectious Disease and demonstrate a commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices, education, and innovative care strategies.

New graduates will be considered.

Preferred credentials: AANP or ANCC

Required: BLS Certification

About Your Work:

• Join a team of 4 physicians and 4 NPs
• Enjoy working in the outpatient and inpatient settings (at nationally-recognized UT Health Tyler, a 502-bed, Level I Trauma Center awarded an “A” Safety Rating from Leapfrog Group in Fall 2024).
• Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• Shared Call Model
• Epic EMR
• Responsibilities include: Providing comprehensive care for patients with bacterial, fungal and viral infections in both the inpatient and outpatient settings; developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with infectious disease physicians; and educating patients and families on disease prevention and treatments.
