Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network in Central New York seeks a full-time BC/BE Infectious Disease physician to join an established group in Cooperstown.

You will provide inpatient and outpatient consults, along with outpatient longitudinal HIV care, and may cover telehealth for non-affiliated hospitals while engaging in research, stewardship, and infection control.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or MBBS with BC/BE in Infectious Disease.
• Completion of an accredited USA Infectious Disease Fellowship.
• New York State Licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient consults as part of an established group.
• Deliver outpatient longitudinal HIV care.
• Participate in infectious disease call coverage and telehealth.
• Engage in clinical research, stewardship, and infection control.
• Opportunity for hospitalist moonlighting and academic collaboration with Columbia.

Bassett Healthcare Network, in Central New York is seeking a full-time BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician.

• Salary Range: $270,000 - $300,000.
• Sign-On Bonus: up to $100,000
• Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 3 physicians
• Inpatient and outpatient consults
• Outpatient longitudinal HIV care
• Infectious disease call by phone is 1:4
• Opportunity to cover telehealth for non-affiliated hospitals
• Opportunity to do clinical research, stewardship, and infection control
• Moonlighting opportunities for inpatient internal medicine as a hospitalist
• Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
• With a faculty appointment from Columbia, there is daily interaction with medical students as well as internal medicine and transitional residents

Compensation

• Salary Range: $270,000 - $300,000.
• This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
• Sign-On bonus: up to $100,000
• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
