Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network in Central New York is seeking a Noninvasive Cardiologist to join our staff in Cooperstown, NY. The faculty practice comprises 15 cardiologists, 2 surgeons, and 18 advanced practice clinicians with an academic affiliation to Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Salary ranges from $610,000 to $712,000 with a sign-on bonus up to $200,000 and a fellowship stipend up to $60,000.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or MBBS.
• BC/BE in ABIM Cardiovascular Disease.
• Completion of an accredited USA Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship.
• New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
• BLS Certification Required.
• DEA required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and consultative care within the hospital and office setting.
• Engage in teaching and collaboration with Cardiology fellows, residents and medical students.
• Night call three times monthly with fellow and resident support.
• Participate in an academically affiliated program with opportunities for teaching.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• The faculty practice consists of 15 cardiologists, 2 surgeons, and 18 advanced practice clinicians. The Bassett network includes over 400 employed practitioners

• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• Provide clinical and consultative care within the hospital and office setting. We offer a full range of noninvasive testing including MRI, CT, echo and nuclear cardiology. We have a busy noninvasive lab with over 10,000 echos and 2000 nuclear scans yearly, with dedicated reading time. To include:
• Outpatient, Inpatient and Regional Patient Care
• Integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record
• Medical and Rural Surgery residency programs, Cardiology Fellowship
• Faculty teaching of our cardiology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students
• Night call three times monthly with fellow and resident support

Conmpensation

• Salary Range: $610,000 - $712,000
• This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-On Bonus: up to $200,000
• Fellowship Stipend: up to $60,000 for up to 18 months prior to graduation
• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
