Job summary

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA, seeks an Infectious Disease APP to join a multidisciplinary clinic with Orthopedic Surgery. You will manage antimicrobial therapy, monitor treatment response, coordinate care, and support patients through their infection journey in an outpatient setting.

This role offers autonomy within a collaborative orthopedic care model, focusing on prosthetic joint infections, osteomyelitis, and other musculoskeletal infections, with close input

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization.
• Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required.
• Currently licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Infectious Disease APP in a multidisciplinary clinic with Orthopedic Surgery.
• Evaluate and manage patients with prosthetic joint infections and other musculoskeletal infections.
• Coordinate antimicrobial therapy, interpretation of labs, patient education and longitudinal follow-up with surgeons.
