Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA seeks a full-time Infectious Disease physician with a focus on musculoskeletal infections to join an experienced Bone & Joint Infectious Disease team.

The role offers opportunities for both specialized bone and joint care and broader ID consultations. You will participate in inpatient consultations with ambulatory follow-up, and collaborate with surgeons at the Bone & Joint Center.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible Infectious Disease physician with focus on musculoskeletal infections.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Infectious Disease fellowship.
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient bone and joint consultations with ambulatory follow-up and new consultations.
• Outpatient evaluations in collaboration with the Bone & Joint Center surgeons.
• Take part in broad ID consultations and potential related research opportunities.
• Sporadic back-up coverage of other Infectious Disease services.
