Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking a full-time BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician with a focus on musculoskeletal infections to join our Bone and Joint ID team.

This academic flagship facility offers opportunities for clinical care, teaching, and research within a growing health system. Responsibilities include inpatient bone and joint consultations, outpatient evaluation with surgeons, and participation in multidisciplinary care, research, and scholarly

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
• Completion of accredited ACGME Infectious Disease fellowship.
• BC/BE Infectious Disease physician.
• Focus on bone and joint/musculoskeletal infections.
• Ability to obtain PA state license to practice? (state license)
• Must obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized musculoskeletal/bone and joint ID care and broad ID consultations.
• Inpatient bone and joint consultations with ambulatory follow-up and new consultations.
• Outpatients evaluated collaboratively with the surgeons at the Bone & Joint Center.
• Sporadic back-up coverage of other Infectious Disease services.
• Research opportunities and academic engagement.

Hershey Medical Center is seeking a full time BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician with an interest in musculoskeletal infections to join our established team of bone and joint Infectious Disease providers located at our Hershey, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to join our experienced team at our academic flagship facility in the growing Penn State Health system.
