MUSC Health – Columbia Medical Center Downtown is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Infectious Disease team. This role offers inpatient and outpatient care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with a focus on complex infectious diseases and community health.

Qualifikationen

• Infectious Disease experience preferred, but motivated new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Passion for delivering patient-centered care in a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine, infection prevention, and quality improvement.

Aufgaben

• Provide inpatient and outpatient Infectious Disease follow-up care.
• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic infectious conditions including sepsis and complex infections.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nursing staff, and care management teams to develop treatment plans.
• Assist with antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and infection prevention strategies.
• Participate in patient education, transitions of care, and coordination with referring providers.
• Utilize Epic EHR and integrated clinical tools to support high-quality patient care.
