Job summary

KOPA, Inc provides infectious disease care through nursing facilities. The NP will diagnose, treat, and educate patients, oversee clinical staff, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a specialized infection-control setting.

Responsibilities include exams, testing, treatment planning, med management, and staff mentorship, with occasional inter-facility coverage in Florida as needed.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner with license and experience in skilled nursing facilities.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities required.
• Knowledge of health care regulations and compliance.
• Commitment to ongoing clinical education and patient care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and review medical records.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on diseases and prevention.
• Oversee patient health and mentor NP staff.
• Lead team meetings and onboarding of new NPs.
• Develop workflows and best practices for the facility.
• Provide coverage at other Florida facilities as needed.
