Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking a Medical Director (Infectious Disease/Family Practice/Internal Medicine) to lead our outpatient facility in San Francisco, CA. You will collaborate with a full care team to deliver high-quality services in a mission-driven clinic.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing patient flow and documentation, and maintaining productivity standards while providing comprehensive care without night shifts.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active medical license.
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing license.
• Outpatient primary care experience.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient care and meet productivity standards.
• Manage 14–18 patients per shift and oversee scheduling.
• Document visits the same day or within 72 hours with correct coding (E/M).
• Deliver primary care for chronic conditions and acute issues.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff.
• Supervise mid-level providers and provide after-hours on-call coverage.
• Full-time physicians receive 4 hours of protected admin time per week.
