Metro Infectious Disease Consultants is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (Medical Assistant) to join our clinic in Overland Park, KS. The role covers back-office functions with occasional front desk duties, contributing to patient flow, vitals, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of clinical practice experience, preferably in an office setting.
• Must be comfortable with back office responsibilities.
• High school Education or equivalent.
• Proof of current vaccinations, including boosters commonly required for healthcare workers.

Responsibilities

• Back Office: escorting patients, recording vitals, documenting chief complaint, notifying doctor when ready; stocking exam rooms; maintain inventory; general tasks as assigned.
• Front Office: filing paperwork, faxing schedules, preparing travel charts, handling mail, printing schedules, processing billing and dictation, updating patient demographics, collecting co-pays.
• Register patients and coordinate referrals; obtain lab specimens and ensure superbills are completed at visit end.
